With the Schöckl (1,445 m), the Fragnerberg (1,109 m), the Rinnweberkogel (1,041 m), the Hochtrötsch (1,239 m) and the Windhofkogel (1,064 m), five mountains over 1,000 meters high belong to the municipality of Semriach. The wildly romantic Kesselfallklamm gorge can be hiked through on footbridges and bridges along the rushing spring water. Cooling off in the Semriach adventure pool is just as refreshing. Fun for the whole family is guaranteed here, but also on the fairytale trail and at the Zottlerhof alpaca farm.
But it's not just the ascent in Semriach that is worthwhile! The descent is also worthwhile! The Lurgrotte, Austria's most beautiful and stalactite-rich show cave, must be seen and experienced! Visitors can immerse themselves in the cave world on well-maintained paths. Always accompanied by the splashing of the water, you reach the Bear Grotto, where bones of the cave bear that lived in Central Europe during the Ice Age and became extinct thousands of years ago were found - and finally the Great Dome, the highlight of the tour! At 120 m long, 80 m wide and 40 m high, it is one of the largest cave domes in Central Europe.
